So Earth Day was yesterday, and with the new cultural push for eveything and everyone to pay attention to our environment, Google was defintiely not about to be left behind. On the Google blog, they announced the expansion of Google Transit into several new cities, new gadgets to include to your Google Desktop that can manage your computer’s power settings to reduce energy usage, and tips on Google for Educators on how to use other Google apps (like Maps) to teach about environmental issues.
