Commuting made easier by Microsoft

A four year project by Microsoft has now come to fruition, making the commute in 72 cities a little easier.

 Microsoft is introducing “Clear Flow” on Live Search Maps, a traffic and routing service to provide information to consumers on traffic patterns in their area. Over a 4 year period, Microsoft gave employees GPS units and had them record traffic in the Seattle area, forming the basis for the Clear Flow map application.
