Google Chrome: The Search Engine That Could

Since Google Chrome launched last Monday, millions of users have downloaded the Beta browser. Yes, its super sleek and chic and was even featured on the homepage of competitor Yahoo!, but there already are some hiccups with the new browser.

I have experienced trouble logging into certain sites and while the browser was running noticed other documents running slower.  I am not the only one experiencing issues,  others have experienced their laptops falling asleep while Chrome is running and network proxy errors. As a browser in Beta there are bound to be issues, even Google has dedicated a page to problems found:  Google Chrome Help Center

But Google Chrome offers some great features. The homepage button offers windows of your most viewed sites, and tabs can be easily pulled out into their own windows. Additionally the browser uses less memory than other traditional Internet browsers, aimed at making page load times faster.

Although, Google Chrome is having its issues, it has by far shown the world how extraordinary a company Google is. From search engine to advertising platform, now to Internet browser, Google is the search engine that could.
